hey guys i dont have the money for a new cat or exhaust system but my cat is making a distinct rattleing sound and its annoyting. how do iget it out

I'm not familiar with your state inspection laws... but do you really NEED a cat?

Pull it off and see whats rattling.

Cats are cheap.. like $45 after shipping, not really an excuse not to run one.

Rattling cat is a sign that it needs to be replaced. If I were you I would replace ASAP so you don't start a fire under your XJ.

in new york you need one not to mention i dont like the way a check engine light looks lol. and i plan on a flowmaster high performance cat

Every state in the us it is a federal offense to remove the cat, just buy a new one
