Default weird thumping

While I'm driving down the road, I hear a loud thumping coming from the rear passenger tire. i put it up on jack stands and put it in gear and i felt a vibration as well as hearing the thumping. the wheels were balanced 6 months ago when the lift was put on. the rear drums and all the inners were changed out also and i have been having problems ever since i got the cherokee almost 4 years ago. but thats not my biggest problem, its just the thumping for now. can anyone help me out?

how loud? like someone in the trunk banging for help loud, or just a background noise? check the bushings on your shocks where the bar pins are.
