weird scrapping sound
I noticed a weird scrapping sound today, it starts at about 25mph and gets louder the faster I go. Its kind of hard to tell where its coming from but I think its from the rear end. I was thinking rear wheel bearing but i jacked up the cherokee and there was no play at the wheels just slight play when pushing in and out and no signs of leaks. So i figure it must be a warped drum or shoes rubbing, any way of testing that? also noticed my right rear drum only goes in a certain way, it wont go in unless i put it back in the way i took it off is that a sign of it being warped? Also noticed a clicking sound when i drive for a while when coming to a complete stop and accelerating, it goes away quick my left rear adjuster cable was loose, can that cause the problem? any help would be appreciated. (P.S. I replaced the front wheel bearings about 200 miles back and I checked the u-joints and they seem fine so i doubt its any of those causing the problem)

The proper way to measure a drum for roundness is take a zillion measurements of its internal diameter, like at 0, 30, 60, 90, 120, and 150 degrees. A less scientific way could be roll it across your garage floor and see if it bounces or wobbles haha. You sure nothing internally is actually dragging on the drum?
Also, have you checked fluid in the rear differential?

Yea I checked the fluid, it looks clean so I don't think that's the problem.
