I have a 1994 cherokee sport 4x4 yesterday i took it on a camping trip about an hour away and noticed a weird popping sound when i started slowing down and speeding back up, i heard it from the rear right wheel and dont know what it could be. Any ideas? I noticed it only happens when i drive for a long time. Its hard to describe the sound but its like a loud clicking that kinds of sounds like when you try turning the front wheels too much with the 4x4 engaded. Im new to jeeps so I would appreciate any help
Does that side feel warmer than the other after a long drive? If you raise the back end and spin the tires by hand, any roughness or bearing noise? Differential full of the proper oil?

i have to check all that but today when i drove it for like 30 min i noticed it again, it only happens when i drive for a long time, my front bearing were making a lot of noise so i replaced them and i started hearing a similar noise coming from the back. It only happens when I stop and accelerate and the noise stops when im going like 15mph
