Ok, here is the back story. I have a 96 Cherokee 4DR and the other day my door look rod popped off the door latch and I couldn't get in the Jeep's driver door. So, after searching for a information on CF and finding a fix, I went out this morning and fixed it. Well, when I put everything back together I noticed that the power door lock system and the radio won't turn on. I hunted around and couldn't find the obvious stuff (fuses, breakers, wires, connectors, ect.) I decided to go pay some bills and when I started the car, it all worked; locks and radio. So, here is the problem.
1996 Jeep Cherokee 4DR / 2WD/AT
Radio won't work in ACC and the Door Locks will not work in ACC or OFF. They will both work in RUN. The radio however loses it memory when the key is turned off.
I'm going to go hunting for a gremlin in the XJ but I thought I would shoot it across the boards to see if there is a known fix for this.

Ok, update.
Upon investigation, I found no burned fuses in both boxes (under dash and under hood) and I have no power to anything when the ignition is OFF or in ACC.

You don't have ANY electrical in ACC? Lights, domes, anything?
With the key in "OFF", check for power at the junction box (underhood relays), then try again in ACC. Don't probe the relays themselves, just the 10mm that is a line source to the battery. (always start easy)
Next, I'd check the ASD relay, should be a 20amp found in the junction box. Chrysler absolutely loved tethering core systems through that. Check that specific fuse is getting a draw.
You've got a really interesting one there! Good luck!

Ok I've been poking around some found more weirdness.
We know that I have a 100% loss of power in ACC. But I can start the XJ and then exactly 25 seconds (I've timed the 10 times) everything comes back on. During that time I have no radio, power locks, interior lights, ect. Gauges work fine, power windows work, AC works.
I changed out the ASD Relay with no change. I can't find a common point in the wiring diagrams however mine don't show the power distro schematic. Anybody got one?

Ok, I think this is a ground issue. Just speculating. Is there a common ground point between the battery and the accessories. If so, where is it? I can find on Chassis mount next to the battery but that's it.
I guess my question would be where are all the battery side ground points. I'm assuming that the accessories all have their own ground points so the common would be on the battery side.
In the morning I'm gonna shoot it with a meter and see if the grounds are solid.

Ok, I'll give a shot. Where are all the firewall ones or at least how many are there.
Toady I tore part the fuse panel and the firewall mount plug. The mount plug was black and slimey so I cleaned it off and put some contact protectorant in there. No change in the problem. Also, here is another twist on this. I'm getting 12V to the door lock fuse but not the radio and interior lights fuse.
