Weak Spark
Hey guys I've been having trouble with my 95 XJ having no spark. Well last night I got Spark! But it's still on the weak side it's a dark blue. Any ideas on how I can improve it? I'm ready to go drive! thanks!

So does the engine run at all?
The primary suspect for weak spark is the ignition coil. Coils can be tested for both primary and secondary resistances with a manual and a meter.
You should have a strong, BLUE, snapping spark....

Im a bit confused as well.
What did you do to get spark?
What did you test spark with?
Was it not running? Is it running now?
Like stated above you coil is the most likely culprit. However I would check all my connections to the coil, A little bit of scuzz can go a long way. Just cleaning them could help quite a bit.

Hey guys sorry I got caught up at work. The Jeep is not running. The coil on it is brand new and I used a volt meter to test it. I'm getting a dark blue spark and snapping from it. I replaced the coil on it. Nother question I have is isn't one of the wires that plugs into the coil supposed to be pulsing?
