Well I've been working on waterproofing my rig the last couple of nights and I am wondering about the ecm. I got a 91 cherokee and its mounted on the driver side fender. Do these have problems when they get wet. I've already added a custom snorkel made out of 4" pvc and rubber diesel compressor boots, dielectric greased every connection, axle, tranny, and t-case vent lines, and siliconed plug wires and distributor cap. My main concern is with the location of the ECM. Any ideas or suggestions?

 

Im sure it would be cheaper to waterproof it than to fry it.

 

idk just put cocking all around the edge of it and around were the big connecter goes. thats what i would do

 

you spelled caulking wrong haha sorry, maybe you could build some type of box to put it in, or put it in a ziploc bag?
