I just replaced my water pump and it is leaking. I am going to replace the gasket this afternoon. What are the proper torque ratings for each of the different bolts that attach the water pump to the block? I believe they are different and wonder if the bolt tightness is contributing to the problem.

Did you clean all of the old gasket off of the block? And Google will have the info you seek.

 

13 ft/lbs. Clean threads and all old gasket removed. I'm gonna guess the bolt torque has NOTHING to do with the leak.
