One of the first things i had to do on my xj.

You may want to consider installing a Mopar OEM pump, part number 4626215AE. Pricy but some of the after market pumps are crap and may fail in short order.

You'll want to change the heater tube while you're at it. OEM part number 53007978. Made in Canada.
