Default Water leak - driver's side

Guys, I have a small seep of water coming from around the hood latch release area. See the pics below. The water is coming from around the bolt above the hood release, some around the hood release, some around a rubber grommet below that, and the last bit from around where some wiring is attached to the wall.

Any ideas? Something stopped up? Could it be the windshield, even though it's not running down the firewall?

Have a friend spray it with a hose to try to pinpoint the area. Could be the windshield or it could be the cowl area. Try removing wipers and the cowl. see if there are any obvious problems.

There is a rubber grommet on the firewall around that area. I believe its just left of the gas pedal and near the top of the firewall. There are wires flowing through it and the water can travel down them. I have been having issues with water seeping through that grommet and dripping onto my floor mates as well as the area you are describing. It may not be it, but is something to check.

I had the save problem, found that grommet to be hanging off, I used silicone to secure it and added a little more around it, seems to have helped

Ok, I put black RTV sealant around the rubber grommet where wires go through to get to the door, around the rubber grommet where wires go to the door open/close button, along the bottom of the hood release pull bracket, along the bottom of the big bolt above the hood release bracket, all around a wire loom support bracket at foot level, and finally I put RTV in a small hole that looks like it was drilled and left empty.

I have since tested with much water from a garden hose at many different parked angles and so far (fingers crossed) no more little leaks.
