Default water leak coming from?

I have been chasing down any water leaks since I did my floors. I've got the pass side taken care of. It's leaking from the drivers side from this round thing in the seam sealer. What is that? I can't see it from the engine side. Im going to rip off the factory seam sealer and redo it from inside but what is it ?

I ground down the seam sealer It's some kind of plastic cap or plug but its not visible in the engine bay.... I just rtved back over it.
I was worried about trapping water from the otherside and causing rust/rot. After replacing my entire pass floor and parts of my drivers side I'm a little paranoid about rust.
