Default wanting to remove a/c compressor

I have a 1990 xj and there is no such thing as an ac pulley bypass for my year xj. So i bought a pulley for a 1991 and the mounting locations are different. I am thinking of just making a new mounting bracket for the pulley i bought and running a longer belt, but does anyone have an idea of how to eliminate my ac compressor without doing much fab work (work doesn't bother me I just want the damn thing outta there.)
Thank You
-Ken

I'd like to know this also. When you go to replace the belt, they ask if you have AC or not. There has to be a way to eliminate the compressor, but you need that pulley to route the belt....

Find a non-ac XJ 87-90 at a JY, pull the pully and mount. 91 is the HO version and may have some different mounts.
