I have noticed this before but didn't think much of it. Today it rained like crazy and I took the jeep around the block real quick. I drove it a little hard and revved the engine in the driveway a couple of times and when I got out to go in my house I noticed a hot sort of burning smell from the front. It seems to do this when it rains so I thought it might just be water burning off the radiator grill. Anyone else experience this, anything I should be worried about?

 

Water boiling off of the exhaust, the tailpipe is right behind the rear wheel you know?

 

Thanks, I kind of thought it might be something like that. It just had that new engine burn off smell and wanted to make sure.

 

Your other car is a Honda, right? Cause only ricers rev in the driveway. lol
