Want to upgrade my 87'XJ..
Hey everyone, I'm still trying to utilize this forum and are very pleased with the write-ups I've seen. Gotta thank my buddy "Studmuffin" from El Paso for it.
Anyways, I got an 87' XJ, Pioneer, 4.0L...I'm sure you know the specs..Engine mods only consist of throttle body spacer & K&N w/ tube from Rusty's. I have some extra cash and want to make a few upgrades. Do you recommend boring out my intake and taking some off the heads? And if so, how much? I just ordered new 2.5 cat, muffler, and in the process of getting new manifold. I'm dumping to the side right after muffler and want to get best out of exhaust and engine. What do you recommend? I appreciate all the help. Oh yeah, and I'm looking for some injectors possibly from a mustang(I read on it) and where I can get new wiring harnesses for them cuz' mine are pretty dried out. CAT
