Default wanna lift it but....

Well I really wanna put 3" coils up front and 2" shackle in the rear, but today while under the jeep I noticed my rear leafs are almost flat... the rear shocks are also shot not sure if that could have anything to do with it.

If I run a 2" shackle on flat leafs will I still get 2" of lift

would the 3 in front and 2 in rear still sit level??

If your rear leafs are flat then they are worn. If you put an extended shackle on with them they will counter arc very quickly. You will not sit level with the 3" lift coils in the front.

DO NOT put the shackles on if you have saggy leafs. I did and boy did it look good for one day. It sagged so quick and now the springs are inverted. Instead of an upwards arch like a smiley face, they are frowning downwards.

Did this occur after you put in an AAL? Says AAL'S will re arch your springs so shouldnt it be safe to add shackles after doing so?

a sagging leaf will not be held up by an aal alone, it that aal would have to be as strong as the whole leaf pack was new and that's not about to happen or the ride would be so hard that nobody would use them

I didn't use an AAL. I was just stock springs and the shackles. I doubt an AAL will help it too much. MAYBE if you use one of the full length add a leafs like this it might hold up. One of the short ones definitely wouldn't work though.

In my experience AAL long or short on worn out leaf packs will not last at all. You might get a year or so but eventually you will end up right back where you are flat leafs and axle wrap in offroad situations which is not good.

If you are going to lift just do it right the first time but that's just my opinion.

I agree. Just get some OME 2" lift packs for the rear. They're good quality and should ride much better than worn leaves and AALs. I'm getting new leafs soon to fix my saggy springs. The shocks are almost bottomed out when the Jeep is just sitting level because they sag so much.
