Default Waggy front end on to a Cherokee?

Has anyone done this yet? And have any inside info about the swap? I have a parts rig (87' Waggy) I picked up and I'm getting ready to swap the front end on to my XJ and just wanted to know of any issues before I get to deep into it..

And I'm not doing it cause I have to I'm doing it cause I love the Waggy front end..

sure it can be done.

but i'd like to see it done to a 97+
or better yet, a comanche. yeah.

i'd like to put waggy tail lights in my xj, there's one at the scrap yard, but the rear hatch won't open.

I did it on my 89 comanche. the header is bolt-on. the wiring for the headlights is plug and play.

if you don't have the headlight wiring harness, you can adapt the light connectors to plug into the normal headlight connectors with some spade connectors, and file the turn signal sockets down to fit in the waggy turn signals. I had to adapt mine to work with the original harness, because the waggy harness was really hacked up.

al in all it was a simple swap. I kept it when I sold the trck then sold the header to some guy who has since vanished from the face of the earth...

remove it from the waggy, clean it up, match the header color, and bolt it on.

literally would take about 5 hours, with dry time

Yep you are. Most all parts are 100% interchangeable. But the different front end is rare and cool..

I hate you nick...

You should make the other truck the parts truck and build the waggy. Don't let some good wood go to waste.
