Hello once again, so i was out wheeling and snapped the rear axle shafts
. The rear end is a d44 out of a 89 waggy. I want to upgrade to chromoly shafts but i am having trouble finding them and even stock replacement shafts. Has anybody done this with this rear end or know anyone who sells 30 spline chromoly shafts 6 0n 5.5 for this rear end. Thanks again.

thats a good question. a buddy of mine runs F & R waggy axles and last time he looked around no one made an off the shelf rear shafts. I sure if you contact superior they could custom make you one. Also this was about a year ago so things may have changed.

No one makes rear chrome-moly shafts for any semi float rear axle because they don't flex and semis need to flex. Your only option is an alloy like 1541H and the like. Stay away from Yukon, Superior and Dutchman are excellent choices.
Try Alloy USA.. I know they make them for the XJ and TJ. My question is why You keep braking them? I know a bunch of ppl who beat the **** out of stock d44 axles.. I personally went Alloy usa. Also TRy Moser, and Currie.
If you want absolute strength go with 33 spline and upgrade your carrier

I did some checking last night and it does look like they are custom order. Only place I saw that even had the waggy44 on their website was Moser.
