Post violent jerk, bucking , shaking Read this

Hello, I have just bought a jeep cherokee from an Army buddy of mine!! Its a 1996 manuel! It has a bad problem..It shakes and bucks when starting out in first , and second gear somtimes third if i shift to early into third but problem goes away in first and second gear once the rpms get above 3,000..... My buddy Drove it from Iowa to GA with 3 broken motor mounts.. He did have them replaced.... It also has a hard time getting into reverse...
I am going to change all of the fluids in the transmisson and diffs but i know thats probally not the problem.

Hope someone can help out thanks a bunch!!! Moose...

Posting the exact same question with a different title does not make the answers come faster. Especially when the threads are only 30 minutes apart.

I did not intend to be rude or poke fun at the person asking the question. Simply stating that impatience does get an answer. Sometimes you have to wait for the person with the knowledge of how to provide a solution to the problem. It may take a little time to get the info you need.

replace the clutch and throwout bearing... AND have the flywheel turned or it is money wasted..

We are just picking on you a little. We really do try to help but lately the forum has been flooded with useless repeated questions.

I would second the suggestion of replacing the clutch and having the flywheel resurfaced as it may be warped. Also make sure you get the motor mounts and transmission mount replaced. If all 3 are broken the twisting of the drivetrain created by the torque of acceleration may have also bent some of the linkages.
