Default Vibration Help

I installed a 3.5 superflex lift into my 94 XJ with a 8.25 rear along with 2" spacers & shackles. I'm getting vibes when taking off and also get a weird sound from what seems like the rear when letting off the gas at like 40-50kms. Would shims and or maybe a T-case drop help this? Do I need an SYE? Any help would be appreciated.

So your sitting at 5.5" inches of lift then?

If so a Tcase drop would help you out.

An SYE would be the best option the since with a tcase drop you will lose 1 inch of ground clearence.

Is the hack & tap an option?

Did a T-case drop on it today. Made a huge difference.

i just went to 5.5" and my T-case drop became worthless even with 4* wedges in the rear. a hack and tap or sye is the way to go at this point.

I did 1" 1/8" t-case drop with no shims in the rear. I have very little vibes now. Where as before it would have shaken the fillings outta your teeth.

An fyi, even with the lower vibes, you are going to want to shim. Without the shims you will start going through U-joints pretty fast.

I have the same year Jeep and with 4 1/2 of lift my DS ears were rubbing in the rear. I dropped the TC and put 4 degree shims in and all the vibes went away...Tj

There is still some vibes and noises so I ordered some 4degree shims. Hopefully this fixs it right up.
