vibration
ok, when i am at a stop and about to go, i press the gas and i get a short vibration maybe only a second but i can feel it and hear it. im thinking maybe transfer case front diff. although i have a very bad u joint in the right front axle shaft. could that be the problem? im would just ignore it bc its not that bad but it seems like it might b getting worse. thanks for any suggestions

welcome! this forum is pretty awesome. and, yes, id guess that really bed u joint is to blame. they do vib. quite a bit. and if its that bad, its a safety issue as well...

thanks..i was wondering how bad it would be if the u joint went completely while i was driving, if it would just lock up that wheel or what. i will check into the motor mounts as well. you can never check out too much stuff on your jeep
