1990 cherokee with 6 cyl 2 wheel drive. I have a bad vibration at speeds bove 60....below that not noticable. Other threads mention tires with bad belts and mounts. I have checked tires and they are all in balance and good. A neighbor says possible tie rods....not sure which way to go?
How can I find which or if either of these are the problem?

Regardless of how your tires look, unless you have rotated the fronts to the rears, they are still suspect. I'd start with that.
After that, get the vehicle up on a hoist and inspect every part you can get your mitts on. If you don't know how to do this, find an experienced front end technician that does.
