Default Vibration in 5th
I am getting this weird vibration/rubbing in 5th right around 55 or so. when i hold the shifter i dont feel any physical rubbing or hitting on the shifter. When i press the clutch it does go away.

i dont only 5th and only at around 55mph on up

well that narrow it don to a fifth gear prob have you ever checked the fluids in trans

Could be bad bearings, but I'd think you'd hear the whining if that were the case.

NVM ill check it does it need to be filled to the cap?

ther is no cap it has to be donre from under the truck there a little plug you pull out and fill untill it comes out the hole

so there is a drain hole on the bottom and then a side screw that is a torx end it looks like

maybe some one on here can tell you if they have the same trans you have either a t4 or t5 warner trans
