What about a sensor? Something this to sense the misfires and stuff, do anyone know what that sensor might be?

And where the first O2 sensor is? I got almost 200k and that baby needs to be cleaned/replaced! Hahah

If you aren't throwing cel and its running good leave it alone.... you can't diagnose a sensor that isn't malfunctioning. You can start replacing them if you want though.... just for your piece of mind I guess

Get it scanned and see what it says. If it ran fine after u reset everything then I would hold off on the compression test for now. Compression is something u cant fix by reseting the comp. If the origianal 02 has 200 k on it I would replace it just for maintaince.

Isn't it like the crank shaft position detector or sensor or something like that?

Edit: I'm about to go to practice so I'll see if it's still on...

Edit: yeah its still on..

It's still and aways has been a misfire on 1&2...or are you thinking I get the history of it, and see if that gives me any ideas on how to fix it or what?

Unless you have a high efficiency water pump and a high-tech radiator, stick with a 195* t-stat...

Not saying ^^ wrong. It's been said time and time again ill say it again. The thermostat does NOT control peak temp, only effects how fast the engine warms up (only time it would is if you look at the difference between say a 160 and 200 because the 200 would be fully open so much later it would cause a little higher temp) that being said our engines are designed to run around 210 215. A 180 degree t-stat fully opens very close to the same temp as a 195 so the difference in overall temp should not be noticeable. What the lower t-stat will cause is slower warm up which causes more wear and tear.
