What about the pintles now? Didn't understand that. And plugs were black? Were they blistered or just soot covered? Wet? Oily? Dry?

Get all fresh spark plugs, and def move the 1 and 2 injectors again and be sure of where you put them. I bet the misfire follows

And did you inspect the plugs? Hmmm carbon builds up from incomplete combustion and is usually too much fuel or not enough or inconsistent spark. Or low compression. Rings usually wear fairly evenly so I'm leaning back toward a valve or break in head gasket between cylinders..... could be crack in the head or surface imperfection that caused it. Since its two cylinders doing the same thing I guess a compression test is def next. I'm sorry if I'm jumping around a little. I answer two many threads and my head starts spinning. Id like to eliminate easier stuff.before jumping right in to.a head gasket.

Hey just had a thought.... think it could be a vacuum leak on the 1 & 2 intake manifold to block?

Im learning as I go, so your guess is probably better than mine...but my first thought it that, if it was a leak why would it only happen in the afternoon?

Nope, I don't have to stuff to do it with. But knock on wood I think that did the trick..it idles amazing now, it goes threw all of the rpms evenly and feels great, it also doesn't bog down going up hills.

But we'll see how she does tomorrow in the heat of the day.. (high of 95, with 90% humidity)

Well when I was drive to cross country practice this morning it came on like as soon as it warmed up...and now the lights off? Do you think whatever sensor that 'senses' the cyl could be bad?
