Got the Ranchos on, haven't used the seafoam yet, and I'm about to go clean the plastic thingy on the valve cover.

That little plastic elbow doesn't want to come out. Is there an exact position it needs to sit so that it comes out without breaking it?

Can someone give me advice on my clutch problems? I have to drive great distances to get to school, like for hundred and fifty miles... A clutch going out is not fun on a long drive.

Clutch: try lubing the pivots and if that does not fix it, crawl under it with motor OFF, and have someone push clutch while you listen for noise.
Valve noise could be oil pressure issue. Low at startup and after oil is hot. If not, you may have a lifter that is struggling.
If you ha ve problems with the ruber gromets on the valve cover, you may wantb to cut the tube and repair with a piece of tubing.

I figured it was a certain lifter when my grandpa pulled out the stethoscope and said that it was a localized noise. What can you do for the valvetrain besides replacing the head?
