Default Valve Stem Question

I know this is not specific to jeeps, but figured I would post away and let you guys have an easy question.

I had some newer tires put onto my rims back in the spring by belle tire. My tires were leaking a small amount of air once the weather started to get cooler, and I noticed the valve stem seemed to "pop out" on one side in the back right tire. Alarmed, I took it back to belle tire to be fixed, and they did it for free a few weeks ago. Now I have the same exact issue with my front right tire, the valve stem is slowly leaking air, and if i wiggle it, it gushes air until i mash it back into place somewhat.

Long story short, is there a way for me to pop the valve stem back into place with enough force, or do I need to take it in again and have them fix it? Also, i have not hit a curb or anything to cause them to become loose, is this a mistake on the companies part?

Thanks

get a valve tool, theyre like 2 bucks. Thread it onto the valvestem and pull. If it doesnt stop leaking, take it back to the tire place.

youre from midland? Im from sanford...

the stems are put inside the rim, and then pulled through. You would understand if you look at one.

Yeah I am from Midland. My dad and I do all of our work in sanford at his pole barn. You may see the Team Mudwolf stickers on a few different vehicles around town.

In regards to your picture, it looks like the back part was pulled to far through the rim, and could blow out at any point. Pushing on it reduces the leak.

ahh... sounds like its their screwup then. let them deal with it, or get a valve tool and try pushing it back in.

Never seen the stickers, but Ill keep an eye out. I have the POS red knocking renix with the bigass white CB antenna on the back corner.

it's possible they tore the rubber on the bottom of the valve stem when they pulled it through the rim.

take it back and get them to put in a new one.

on that note, i installed steel threaded valve stems on my beadlocks. they are fully threaded and have a lock nut you tighten against the rim.

not sure if they will work on your rim, but may be worth looking into.

They should be replaced every time you replace the tires. That is just cheap insurance.

If the stems are just now starting to "pop" out the tire shop probably either used the wrong size stems or got some bad ones. ( and it is possible to get a bad batch ) Have the tire shop inspect your rims to make sure they are using the correct size stem for the wheels. The metal bolt on type are great if you aren't crawling in the rocks but they break off easily when jammed on the rocks because they will not flex like the rubber stems.
