You have a metered orifice just like the rest of the 4.0Ls... only way you're gonna turn a 'valve' outta that is if it's so full of sludge that it only flows air above a certain pressure

If anyone wants I can post the part #s tomorrow when I look at the receipt for my recent autozone trip where I replaced both of these elbows/"valves" on my 97 4.0.

Annoying that you have to buy the whole darn thing but if one of my vaccum lines is this jacked up they are all probably due for replacement. Should i get both of these?
Yes. Replace all 3 items. Go to the store. They've got tem. For some reason "online" doesn't sow them.,

The part number 715-1365 is for the rear CCV line. Picked this up yesterday at NAPA. Mine came with the rear grommet and the front elbow. So you shouldn't need to purchase the seperate grommet.

PO on mine MJ replaced motor and/or valve cover with newer stuff. Had to slightly trim the grommet and really work at getting in down into the newer valve cover grommet.

The MAP sensor line is what I was really after on mine. Ended up making my own out of what was left of the old MAP hard line and some small vacuum hose.

Ouch! Is that a Renix-specific tube or do '91-'96 use the same one?

Sorry if I added confusion.

I should have stated the part was installed on my recent addition.
