Default Valve Cover Bolts

Are all of the VC bolts the same size? I'm gonna go ahead and buy all new ones, I broke one within torque specs

I think you're right about studs. I'm gonna go pull a bolt off of it tomorrow and see if I can't find grade 8 in that size. That grade 5 snapped like nothing

I didn't lol. I didn't break clean off though so I'll try my luck with a vise grip. If that doesn't work I will weld a nut to it. If that doesn't work then I'm screwed lol

snug on the valve cover is fine, as long as it doesn't leak.
go around and snug them about a week later. all i've ever done.

It might be real easy to screw out. Once on something I made a screwdriver slot with a dremmel since it was handy.
