There's a vacuum line on your intake manifold that runs across/behind your engine to the area near the passenger side firewall. At the passenger side firewall there are 2 plastic hoses going through a rubber grommet into the cabin. The vacuum ball should be behind the passenger side bumper and have vacuum lines running from there, next to the battery, along the passenger side inner fender up near the firewall that I've already described. If you have a vacuum can, it needs to be in that area. Without the can, your heat/AC will blow out the defroster vents on acceleration, cruise control won't work.

 

Well then... Lol that explains y my vents dont work . The cruise control was disconnected for some reason ;/ but I guess imma get hold of this vac cannister thing, also. Wats best manual for our cherokees , heard between haynes and chiltons , chiltons was best for jeeps

I don't have a picture but it's literally just a black ball with a diameter of like 5 inches.

 

Heres wat I think got relocated I think it connects to my cruise control.

 

That's the cruise control servo, not the vac res you're trying to find.

Yep. Get one and locate it up near the firewall instead of in the back of the bumper.

 

I gotta chiltons mamual today, trying find wat it looks like so I can price one brand new lol . Dnt have any time to hit th junk yard for while lol

Yea def dnt have it lol , that whole piece has been cut out. Wats the actual part called all im findin online and in my manual is,the caniater for the fuel evap etc

 

I got the vacuum ball, now I have two lines one is vacuum and not sure wat the other is for but its taped together to the vac line thst hooks into the vac ball, the other line goes into the firewall where my blower motor is

 

If you originally had cruise control, that's what the other line was for.

 

Yea I had crusie control but the wires were cut before I got it. In the jink yard the other day I was pullin the evap ball off a 91, (same part,) &it had the two lines,together but the one that the L shaped 90 degree lookin one was hooked into this lil module, but I dnt think my jeep had that assembly. Theres only one port for that cannister. And its the vac line. The other pic I posted few days ago of another cannister alos,for cruise control? If mines,disabled there really no point in trying to hook it up?? Hope,this makes,sense lol

 

The little module as you call it, is the plastic line kinda pinkish colored?
