V8 swap???

I know this is an old thread and i dont mean to re-open a can of worms, but the way you use you rig would determine where you want your power band. Right? if you use it mainly for rock crawling or similer off-roading you want the low end power and torque. correct? if you want to race your cherokee or something like that, then you want your power band higher in the rmp's. again i dont mean to re-start something just reading and clarification.
