ive had the following:
- 31" bfg mts, liked them alot. sold them with alittle under half tread left at 55k. they kind of suck when braking in the rain, but offroad they do great aired down. overall a nice tire, pricey- but still a nice tire for snow, mud, dd, and the beach
- 31" mtrs, they were kind of loud on the street, have to constantly rotate them or they get way too loud.... only had them a short time
- 32" bighorns, probably my most favorite tire. they did great aired down, and performed great in the snow/rain. they are siped so they are alittle quieter than your average m/t. they did great when wheeling in the snow, they are down nice, flex nice when you air them down. they wear great too, i put 30k on a set and couldnt tell they were wearing. im buying a set for my xj for sure... also they did good on the beach...
my buddy has ran kumho m/ts for 60k and they finally need replaced. he never rotated them. i was **** about my rotations so i did them every oil change, sometimes every other.. maybe thats why my tires last 40k+..
hope that helps.

My favorite tire would be the kumho Venture MT (old design):
Pretty similar to bfg's tread patter, which makes it work so well. I wish they kept it in production. The new deign looks good though. THE BUS on here runs them and likes em.
The kumho tops my list as favorite all around tire but the superswamper ltb takes 1st in off road only tire. 4" chunks of mud flying straight up in the air is an experience.......

The best A/T tires I have had, would be Bridgestone Dueler REVO's. 2nd A/T would be Dayton Timberline A/T's. For Mud's I would say some Mickey Thompson MTZ's

i got a set of big o big foot's on right now and havent had any complaints with them but they just went on last week so all ive got to do is a little mud. i have always liked cooper brand tires. I ran them on my last 3 trucks and had good luck there are a few people on here who run the cooper stt and they seem to like em.

31 - BFG A/T - for on road looks with mild off road there great. Dirt and rocks there pretty good. Mud and wet rocks they have traction problems.
31 - TSL's are great for off road only, they are great on all terrain except a paved road.
33- My next set is going to be the BFG M/T
