Shackle bolts dont come with the kits, they want you to reuse the bolts that are already on the jeep.

As for size, I am unsure.

I know the wrench you need it was a 21mm. As far as thread and all that stuff beats me. Bring the chacke with ya too a hardware store. NOT AUTO PARTS they like to charge 5 bucks a bolt. Have an estimate of length and pick one up. They do have grade 8 bolts there too.

My kit came with the bottom bolt. I am not sure what size it is but I think it is a 21mm.

Yeah Stryker is right. Take your shackle to the Bolt store and have them get you a grade 8 that fits the shackle and you can pick SAE or Metric. You finally get to choose which set of tools to use.

if you have a tractor supply store go there..also make sure you get Grade 8 bolts and nuts and washers. Anything less is asking for trouble..

After an hour of searching, i found that they were metric bolt, size is 14mm x 110mm/ 2mm thread pitch. The upper shackle bolt, lower bolt, and front leaf spring bolts are all the same. I confirmed it with the dealer and asked them what they wanted for two and they said $5 a piece. I called my local hardware store and they had em listed for $5.25 so i'm just getting the stock bolts from the dealer since i have to pick up the heat shield for my injectors on monday. I'll just get em all at once.

That bolt information needs to be put somewhere in a sticky for reference.. Also those are the exact same bolts used on the front lower control arms..

Top of shackle width from bushing end to bushing end is 2 3/4. Bottom of shackle for leaf spring is 2 3/4 as well. From top hole to bottom hole is 6 1/4. From top hole to 2nd hole up is 5 1/4.
