upper control arm bushings
Man I sure hope I have the right bushings. I bought stockers a while back, the kind with the step towards where they seat.... looks correct for the axle end but I'm not sure about the control arm end. I have old r.e. control arms from god knows when. The bushing that came out didn't really have a step but sort of looked like it had been turned and basically fell out when I took the arm off. The inside diameter is the same on the control arm as it is at the axle.... how freakin hard do you have to press these things in?

Well I answered my own question. I'm happy to say I replaced my bushings with an assortment of forged 3 jaw pullers... broke one of em. Sure would be easier with a hydraulic press.
