Just get mopar parts. OE parts are always better than autozone or ebay. Ive seen stock pads on newer cars last over 50 k so just my two cents.

I have been considering drilled and slotted rotors as well. I actually talked to a guy with a tacoma. Put them on the truck and told me he didn't notice a difference. Stops the same. No better. I think the only thing it will do is keep the heat down. Which would help. Less chances of warping a rotor and needing to replace it or get it cut. But either way I still want the drilled and slotted rotors. But I think ill go with Mopar brake pads. Probably best bet.

IMHO drilled & slotted rotors are a waste of $ on anything other than a racecar. Try putting some ceramic pads on it and see what you think, they've worked out well for myself and many of my friends who experienced reduced stopping power with slightly bigger tires.

I don't know what year your jeep is but about two years ago I wast having a problems with my rotors and found out they were warped. I checked how much they would be a the dealer and I found out that there was a recall on them. My XJ is a 98 and I really don't know what year the recall was for. But, any ways after the dealer changed out the rotors I put on some ceramic pads and they made a big difference on the stopping power. So, In my opinion I would just put some oem rotors and try some ceramic pads. Hope this helps you a little.

New rotors and EBC pads. Go to their website to choose unless someone else here chimes in. Also, do a "bedding in" procedure on teh new pads. Makes a huge difference.

You don't want drilled or slotted rotors on an off road vehicle. Mud, dirt, stones etc... build up in the cavities and trash the pads. I shot through a set of pads on a ford truck in less than a year because of crap getting stuck in the rotors.

If you really want to upgrade your braking, go with quality brake components in the front (OEM, NAPA, RockAuto) and do a disk brake swap in the rear from a ZJ.

x2
I spent a lot of time reading and researching on brake rotor and pads.....ended up spending $200+ on Powerslot Rotors and Hawk Ceramic Pads.....overrated if you ask me.
I'll stick with some premium Napa's if i'll do it again.
