There is a little upgrade you can do with a little work, remove your wiper motor and linkage. Make sure your linkage/pivots are all in working order. Remove the cover on the wiper motor, remove the large gear and shaft. Get this part #
CBTBD220 Windshield Wiper Module
from the dealer
It is a recall part for a dodge dakota, the motor is the same if you change out the plastic gear. So essentialy you get a brand new wiper motor for very little$$. I did this to mine because my wipers would almost stop in the snow and I needed a motor and didn't want to shell out big$$ for an o.e. one
Good luck!

Tell me about it. I only have one speed and it's gotta be the slowest motor ever.
A rebuilt motor is a 100 bucks at the parts store. I can't see paying that much for a rebuilt wiper motor lol

whats the trick to get the wiper arms off without breaking them, i had replace them once cause they lost their tension, but i ended up having to break them off cause i couldnt get them off, i need to reposition mine on my jeep, i put them on too low and they hit the rubber seal on the bottom of my winshield now
