Is 20k the lowest range above 7k? Are you sure your leads are good? Maybe you weren't making a good connection with your probes. Jeep needs to be off with motor cold, electrical connector unplugged, put your probes on the prongs on the sensor itself where the connector plugs in. If not pick up a new sensor, you can test a new sensor right out of the box, doesn't even need to be installed. If you can't get a read on a new sensor then your meter/leads are bad or you are doing something wrong. If you get a read on the new sensor but not on the old one, then I guess your sensor is bad. But even my old sensor was still putting out 4,000 ohms.

Think my meter is junk!!!! Cause I didn't get any reading off the new one. Have not confirmed the injector pulse. Got a new distributor, now prepping to put it in. Gonna look for info on injector pulse. Thanks everyone.
