Up the idle?

At what RPM's should my 2000 XJ idle at? How can you up the idle a little bit? Does anyone have a pic of what to adjust?

Don't think you can adjust it. Somewhere around 750 - 800 rpm is normal.

If your idle is lower it's likely a bad sensor.

Idle is not adjustable. It should be around 750 rpms for your idle.

If you have idle problems, the primary suspect is the "idle air control". Located on the throttle body.

Never a bad idea to clean both that and the throttle body as they get carboned up over time and miles.
