My 97 grand cherokee is making a rattling noise in the passanger rear side the noise started after i replaced the orignial shocks at 235,000 miles im wondering if its just a shock might be a little loose but wondering what it could also be. there is also the same rattling in the front driver side but not nearly as bad.

 

Was it rattling before you changed out the shock? If not I would make sure that everything is tight.
BTW, this is the XJ section not the GC section.
