I still need to patch up the hole I have above the muffler. Thats the only place the body shop didnt undercoat back in '96 and the only place to rust out. For 180k miles of Michigan weather she's not bad looking. No rocker rust to speak of.

Its awesome that you suggested floor mats. When I first checked the truck out I looked under it and saw the bottom of the floor mats. I seriously shouted, "WTF???"

The guy didn't really know, or played like he didn't.

None of this is hard to fix, though. So I doubt the OP will have a problems fixing his rusted parts.

We've also got something in common with the hole above the muffler. Mine is almost the size of a basketball, and anytime I hit slush or standing water from snow, I get a sauna effect from the steam.

Makes the inside of the windows fog, which is annoying.
