Default Under the hood vacuum hose

Can anyone please help me, I have no idea where this vacuum hose/tube is supposed to connect to its a 1993 jeep cherokee 4.0 straight 6.

The tube im holding, where is it suppose to be connected to?

I believe that goes to the heater control valve located in one of the heater hoses not far from where the photo was taken.

fYI, that orange Fram oil filter is one of the worst filters you can use. Wix is the go-to oil filter.

What cruiser54 said.
Unless of course at some point somebody deleted the heater control valve.
Which is somewhat common cause it is a crappy set up.
Owning a '96 some years ago know they like to leak and sometimes just crack.
What I don't know is if they plug that line when they do so.....

Good point Ralph. And if the heater control valve is now gone, that vacuum line should be plugged!

I would assume so to but.....
Had I known I could do this on my '96 way back when I would have instead of buying a new heater valve.
And then I would know cause I would have researched it.
LOL.
Owning an '00 now I don't worry about it.
