Ummmm.....my door handles are FROZEN!!
So I went out to get in the Jeep today and couldn't get the key into the lock. No big deal, I heated up the key with a flame and got the doors unlocked. However the handle itself is also frozen. I can get the button to push in, but the door isn't opening. What do I do? I need to be at work in two hours!!
Also I tried to open the back hatch and crawl in, but it was frozen as well....

Any ideas on how to get them unfrozen? The jeep is parked too far away to get a hair dryer out and melt them

start by hitting them by the handle and by the locks. mine froze up last night and i did that and was enough to break the frost and get my doors open

Boiling water in a squeeze bottle around the handle area. Keep it OFF the glass, if boiling water gets on freezing cold glass it can crack. What's the temperature up there, anyway? Must be cold as the devil to freeze your doors shut.
And tonight, throw a tarp over your windshield/doors and bungee it down so any frost is on the tarp and not on your truck doors. The WD-40 trick will help, too.

Its about 19 right now, but really windy and the Realfeel is about -1.....also it had been raining a lot the past few days and the temp suddenly dropped, which is why I think the handles froze up.

I got it with the hot water method, thanks to all....I got the passenger side open first and had to punch the drivers door open from the inside , but it worked
