Default Ummm jeep is stalling alot so i pulled out the code reader

This is the code I got i really don't know how to explain it not rough idle but its very touchy on the throttle and pretty easy to stall. Also this is dues to a water locking incident then i left it sitting for about a week it didn't do it before
Also i have a auto tranny could i have just ruined it by getting water into it i hear it ruins automatics its kind acting wierd ?

picture of the code

1. Did you swap out your fluids after the "water" incident? Water in ANY of your fluids including your diffs is bad news.

2. The code you have is for your "throttle position sensor". It is located on the throttle body. They are very susceptible to water problems. You could try removing the connector and flushing the connector with a few sprays of electrical contact cleaner (available anywhere), but if this continues, replace the TPS.

The TPS can make the transmission act like it's going bad, found that out the hard way(long story)

Did you have a "Check Engine" light on when you checked this code or did you just plug it in to see if anything showed up? The reason I ask is because my son's 2000 XJ is acting the same way. Advanced Auto said there needs to be a check engine light on before the code reader will pick up the error code.

Get a bottle of Seafoam. That might help clean you up. My Jeep would stall out in the first 30 seconds of operation if I tried to give it gas, and Seafoam fixed it.
Because you did have water in there, Seafoam will also help get rid of any remaining water.

It is like $9 a bottle and worth a try. If it doesn't work you at least got a lot cleaned up.

I would put 1/2 in the gas tank, and the other half into the brake booster vacuum line while the Jeep is running.

I have used it a couple times it can get sketchy because i heard it is a solvent however you spell it that can mess up the motor up if you use it to much

Scale those pics down a bit for ease of viewing.... They are HUGE!

If you are coding for the TPS, replace it.

You might want to also check all wires going to the TPS first to make sure thats not a issue also. And watch that seafoam in the crancase (gas and booster line no problem.)
