What SYE have you decided to go with? I'm shopping to find the cheapest but, strongest for my buck. I'm probably going to go with the Tom Woods set up so.......I will keep saving my $$$$$$$$

Probably sounding like a Dummy here but, who is PORC? Also, with that price are you having to acquire your own new rear CV non-slip yoke driveshaft, seaprately?

No need for a fancy 300 dollar CV D/S. Just go to the JY and get a front XJ 4x4 Drive shaft...best bang for you buck you can get.

Performance Offroad Center. I did have to get my own DS from a 99' XJ. Which was like $40 so total was $227. Heres a link for them

Thanks for the info., guys. Now, that the lockers are done. The SYE will probably be the next upgrade.

since no one answered the OP's question...

the front axle shafts can take Spicer 760x joints, and they're the strongest you can get for that application at a parts store. I've seen em hold up to big tires very well. For the DS, its Spicer 1310, but not everyone carries Spicer. Any of the premium U-Joints from a major parts house is sufficient. They usually run ~$30 each.

i think brute force or something makes a decent ujoint. theyre pretty cheap at advance auto, you can get ones with or without grease zerk fittings.
