I'm sure they are weaker with the zerk, but how much weaker are they? Enough that it will matter? Have you ever SEEN anyone break a ujoint because of a grease fitting?

Mine exploded cause of the grease zert it was busted in half toasted my inner and outer I wont ever buy another one with grease zerts and it was a spicer couldn't find the peices for warranty, now I have sealed spicers and milled TJ shafts with lock rings,

In auto they tell you to go till it squirts out of the caps on all 4 sides
