Hi, i just found out my u-joints on my front driveshaft are bad, i went to autozone and got new u-joints, but the caps don't fit, and he new one's have snap clips when they should have c-clips, autozone is adamant that they gave me the right ones, but there is no way they are. does anyone know which u-joints we're supposed to have and where i can get them at? Thanks

 

go to napa...just tell them you need u joints for ur front drive shaft they have two to choose from regular ones and extra strong ones

 

sounds like they gave you axle shaft joints.
take em back and tell them you need 5-1310x joints, not 5-260x or 5-297x which they gave you.
depending on which ones, most likely the 297's you can keep them if they are the correct ones for your axles.
