Recently I've been driving and whenever I would take a turn a loud clunk would come from the back. I suspected it to be my U-joint so today I decided to change it. I've never done it before but it didn't look to hard. I took out the old one and put the new one in and it wasn't too easy to get in even after i greased it. It seemed to be very stiff and didn't have much play.
I went out driving again and for a little bit it didn't make the clunk noise but now it's doing it every turn and it sounds worse than before. Did I put the new one in wrong? Is it supposed to have more play on it?
