When i was changin my oil i was taking the oil filter off. and my hand sliped and broke this sensor right above the oil filter. now when i turn the key over there is a loud buzzing and my oil pressure hand tops out. i just dont no if i can still drive it? cause i dontt have any other way to get the part right now? to be honest i have no idea. any feeback will be appreaciated.

Its the Oil sensor, you can get them just about anywhere. Its drivable as long as its not leaking...Tj

ya mine went out one night.....i was driving and all of a sudden my oil pressure pegged out, like over 100 p.s.i. on my guage lol so i pulled over, and my pressure went down to like 80 p.s.i., so i was worried....i looked at the filter and it wasnt bulging, didnt see any leaks, so just drove it home. changed the sensor and it was fine lol. just make sure to put some plumbers tape on the threads when you put it in, to make sure it doesnt leak.

if you haven't started it up yet, have some body keep an eye on it to see if it starts spewing out oil before you drive, i've broken this piece 3 or 4 times on different jeeps, most of the time it breaks were oil does't come out and its not big deal you can drive for as long as you can want, but sometimes it breaks the other way were oil is free to spew out every where so be careful.
