lol yeah.. changing the alt caused this when i was making the belt tight,got lil too happy with the ratchet and it snapped the line.

You have no idea how true your words are my friend! Did a "Temp fix" on said line with JB weld and it is curing now.. hoping it holds out for a lil bit until I can get my "Toy"ota back from the shop. in other news i found a "Lil bit" of oil in one of the half inch tubes that go to the air box.. kinda scared me to see it drizzle out when I pulled the airbox apart..is it normal to find oil in those hoses?

Normally it is just residue and sludge, never have seen oil pouring out, most likely it is just some from sitting or something like that.

Yeah.. it sat for a lil bit while I awaited the new alternator and such.. and in other news! idly running photo -with surging idle from a few unhooked vac lines!-

Kinda sorta on older engines. Check the rear hose that runs from the valve cover to the intake manifold, it or the fittings are likely totally clogged

Quick question.. is there any way to recondition the seal that goes around the sunroof glass? hit a heavy rain squall today is it turned into a drip fest that would rival GITMO.
