Turn Signal Troubles

My turn signals work sometimes and sometimes they don't. When they do work it is only for a few seconds, or it just stays on instead of blinking. The hazards are the same way. Would this be the relay or the switch it self?

sounds like flashers going out on ya what year ?

Similar problem with my 86XJ. They work fine and then they stop. Changed out the flasher fuse...

Hope to hear some replies to this problem.

Sounds like flasher failure or a ground issue to me.

I'm feeling the ground issue.
My problems started after I tried removing my cluster. Lost all dash lights, including signals and my fuel gauge was stuck at the halfway mark. I got the dash cluster back in proper. Fuel gauge is working but still no lights on the instrument panel. The flashers worked for about an hour and then back to them not working. Real PITA...
