you know, I did a quick google search and found this... it might help...

an "Easy" way to find it and kill it. With my considerable lack of skill with mechanical things, I could probably complete this in 5-10 minutes... so any normal person should breeze through it.

thats a jaguar site, it might no be accurate. but you can pull a fuse and it will stop.

they probably wanted to have something good on the site.

jeep forum says that there is a fuse and it is "number 4" and something about the glovebox?

There is a Jag XJ, I've seen a lot of them in my search. Ill do a fuse search in the morning and post back as to how it goes.

And "kamokid" sorry if my reply was a bit rude. Ill keep it cleaner in the future. Your answer was very easy, just not the answer that solves my issue.

Found the buzzer and it sounds like its all part of the light switch assembly. Not sure where to go from here. Ill call a dealer today and ask.
